Affiliation
If you’d like to affiliate with Pokeshore, these are the very generic rules for the sake of having rules.
- Must be a Pokemon site
- Must be updated at least once a year
- Must have enough content to browse through
- Must be easy to navigate
But essentially, as long as your Pokemon site is up, clean, and easy to navigate, I’d be more than happy to affiliate with you. I love making new friends!

About
Hi! My name is Corrie and I solely own Pokeshore.net. I’m an ESFP Canadian girl who has and always will be a nerd who’s into cute things. I owned a Pokemon fansite before this one during the glory days of fansites from 2006-2012 (if you can guess which fansite I owned, you win a gold star!). It retired when I went off to college and sadly fansites became a thing of the past with social media and wikis taking their place. It’s been over ten years now (crazy!) since I owned a fansite and with social media becoming a bot/AI ad festered cesspool, I remembered fondly of owning fansites instead where real people created things because of their passion instead of money and decided to bite the bullet and create a new fansite.
My last fansite was your typical one that contained free graphics, fun stuff, and articles, but this time I wanted something different. Hoenn is my favourite region and generation of Pokemon so I wanted to create a travel blog for the region as if it were a real country. I had planned on creating Pokeshore with the old school three column layout and even had coded one that was mobile friendly but then decided to make the entire website more modern using WordPress. I feel most comfortable coding with HTML/CSS and PHP so using WordPress has been a different but fun experience for me.
But enough about Pokeshore and my past fansite. What else do I like to do in my spare time? I enjoy video games a lot. A few of my favourite franchises are Animal Crossing, Kirby, Pokemon, and Sonic. I mainly play platformers, racing games, rpgs, and cozy games. I also enjoy manga and anime and have a couple bookshelves filled with books. A few of my favourite series are Fullmetal Alchemist, Spy x Family, K-On, Bocchi the Rock, Laid Back Camp, and Durarara.
Writing is another big hobby of mine. I started writing fanfiction in 2009 and haven’t stopped since. Here is my Ao3 if you’re interested! My original Fanfiction.net account still exists but nobody needs to see that! Currently I’m working on an original work and it’s turned into quite the beast! I hope to finish it one day and have others read it!
Despite liking computers and video games, I enjoy being outside going on walks or swimming in lakes. I could do nothing but swim for the entire day and be ecstatic. During the summer, you’ll hear me talking about nothing else except about how much I want to go swimming. It’s my number one priority in June-August.
I think that’s it for now! As you could guess from reading above, I’m not crazy about social media much anymore. Most of my accounts are dead and have been for years. I do have a tumblr but it’s not that active. Best I have is Discord so if you’d like to add me, just send me an email or leave a comment on Pokeshore and I’ll add you!
Anyway, thanks for reading and visiting!
